Preschool children learn through play and interaction with one another. We provide many opportunities for children to learn about God's love and explore the world He created! Our program lays the foundation for children to be happy and successful now and in their future school years through play-based learning centers.

At CLC, children are guided through child-initiated and teacher-directed activities to learn. They enjoy story time, creative art, music, recess, STEM programs, and learning about the alphabet, colors, numbers, and shapes. We provide a Kindergarten readiness program that follows State Standards and NAEYC Criteria.

Project WILD gets children excited about exploring nature and spending time outdoors. Ready Bodies, Learning Minds provides experiences to develop sensory and motor systems and teach children about their bodies. Amazing Athletes helps children develop athletic skills and get them excited about moving their bodies.

Children at the CLC focus on a Bible story each week to help them develop a relationship with Jesus and learn more about His Word. They are also able to attend fun and exciting chapel services each week with our staff at King of Kings Lutheran Church.

Our Caring Approach

The Children's Learning Center provides your child and family:

Small group sizes for individualized instruction.
A qualified, caring staff that is certified in CPR and Pediatric First Aid.
Family Events throughout the year.
An outdoor playground with a bike path.
Abundant resources to play with and explore, including books, manipulatives, dramatic play and dress-up materials, building blocks, toy cars, and other toys.
We are a faith-based Christian learning center where children are LOVED! CLC teachers use a redirection and positive guidance approach with the children. Timeouts are not utilized in our facility; however, the teacher may ask a child to step away from a situation in order to calm down and help them think of a better way to approach the situation. A child is never asked to sit in a corner, on a time out chair, or to remain away from the group for any length of time.
